Strengthening Social Integration through Jembulan Culture in Village Communities (Study in Kedungharjo Village, Mantingan District, Ngawi Regency)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the noble values ​​in Jembulan culture and their implementation to strengthen social integration in society. The method used is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted in Kedungharjo Village, Mantingan District, Ngawi Regency. The results of this study show that Jembulan culture can be a good and effective medium in strengthening social integration in the daily lives of local communities. Apart from being a medium for strengthening social integration, jembulan is also an expression of village people's gratitude for the harvest as well as an effort to clean the village. In implementing this culture, all elements of village society are involved, especially the driving force is the village government, religious leaders, community leaders, village elders and youth who collaborate with each other to make this activity a reality.
